Iron Rule of Oligarchy
This year’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament reflects very well on the current state of affairs.
There are very “good” teams (the big boys) and very “bad” teams (mostly conference tourney winners).
The selection committee bailed on their at-large bids. They played it safe; favoring the name teams with mediocre records over the lesser name schools with better records.
I’m in too far not to have an interest even though I know I’m the one getting screwed.
Sound familiar?
