Money for Nothing
Here’s something to think about:
Frank Thomas, the U.S. Golf Association’s former equipment expert, once told me that most amateurs spend way too much money on equipment upgrades. He’s a strong believer in the “it’s not the arrow, but the shooter” philosophy of golf. He was especially vehement when it comes to the amount of dollars and lack of “sense” we golfers use when it comes to the balls we purchase. To him, there’s very little difference in the modern golf ball. Most of us have been conned by the golf industry into believing that it’s the equipment and not us.
that’s absolutely true..
